These are the footsteps my pen left,
When it walked, down on this paper,
These were emotions crossing my mind,
Trapped them and caged them in a poem,
Intended to express my deep love to you,
Through these words, a little ink on paper,
Could have read it on my heart, with yours,
Made you a copy, just for your cute eyes.
