"A JOURNEY...A GAME..."

Served me a delicacy on a dirty plate,
Walking in life, legs on my shoulders,
Bathing in tears, is what my soul does,
And I seem to find love in what I hate,
Life is a journey, I think am out of fuel,
Heaven's hard, I heard angels are cruel,
Well at first this was indeed something,
But, chasing after it, leaves me panting,
I'll say it again that this life is a journey,
And I've seen peoples' dreams decaying,
By the roadside, life's a game too honey,
I've figured out you indeed love playing,
It's a game not a sport, sorry for saying,
It is a game, with no loser nor a winner,
You either fall as a quitter or a survivor.

"TWO FROM HER"

Two strides from her,
She felt too close to me,
Like I was tattooed on her,
Stepped two away from me,
I felt fear sprout within her,
She couldn't run from me!

"DEAR TRUTH"

This music seems to interfere with my emotions,
Serving love and hate in unbalanced proportions,
Am next in the queue and running out of patience,
If my truth seems blurry, brush off your eyelashes,
A tonne of answers, not enough to fill the dashes,
Truth fed me good but then burnt my dirty dishes,
They say life is short, well, am ever doing dashes,
Go out, sell your soul, let your heart pay the cost,
Hold a heart, toss it around, cry not when it's lost,
Am indeed a fool for you, when you're full of me,
Am food for you, only when, you are feeding me,
Elephants have big teeth, but, rats chew the most,
R.I.P, yet we'll disturb the tombstone, if it is frost,
A lie blossoms amid those lips and feels so crispy,
Dear truth, it's long since we met, do you miss me?

"ONE MORE SOUL"

Cheeks eroded and deep furrowed,
An engineering thanks to the tears,
Ears full of entangled webs, of lies,
Trust's an infant died in conception,
Pores on the skin, filled with worry,
The art on the heart a million cracks,
The hurt on the mind, heavy misery,
The body dances, a song of memory,
But, deep, on the cracks of the heart,
Sprung pure love, for one more soul.

"SPUN OUT"

A heart, pure white as cotton,
Ruined it, wiping off wounds,
This is Satan with his coat on,
Sorrow is, his musical sounds,
Spun out of a mess caught on.

"CREEPER"

Oh,
How kind,
Of you my dear,
To sing me,
Lovely lullabies,
Just to creep,
In the wee hours,
Later in the night,
Up the edges,
Of my cold bed,
Serving me, with,
Horrible nightmares.

"TALES ON SAND"

Life is about finding something to do,
Keeping busy with something worthy,
Whilst waiting for that one funeral day,
Ouch, am so sorry if that did hurt, okay,
If I say that we'll never die, that is a lie,
The truth's not welcomed, oh well, fine,
We'll fade away, we are not here to stay,
We are all tales scribbled down on sand,
Unless you get that grip and understand,
You will always, take your story, lightly,
You'll, also ruin, others' tales, and, sadly,
'You Only Live Once' will be an excuse,
For the sins and wrongs that you choose,
Well no dispute, we only live once, right,
But you can live several lifetimes in a life,
Tame your eyes, before the darkest night,
Oh, luck making something out of this life!

"PAPERS"

A brother killed, fresh blood, on the streets,
Paid wages to sin death and hid the receipts,
The ink on the papers, is what my brain eats,
A youth lies in blood, don't blame the police,
Boys do not breed into men, but, into beasts,
Trying to look for peace, from between fists,
Don't be the next bad story in the papers son,
The right knowledge makes a boy a real man.

"NO SUIT AND TIE"

No suit and tie, but baby, I know my worth,
Don't shoot I'll die, maybe reverse my birth,
Racing piece and who's sprinting in the race?
Rest In Peace, and where's the resting place?

"DRUNK SIPS"

Placed a finger, on her lips,
Traced it across her cheeks,
Index, one ear, thumb, dips,
Under her tongue, she licks,
The nectar on my fingertips,
Calls my name when it slips,
Over her lower lip for a kiss,
Sings my name, amid strips,
Heart skips, grips, she gasps,
'Darlin' can I fill those gaps?'
Her heart unzips, drunk sips,
Night flips a heart she keeps.

"DON'T"

Please, don't cry for me,

I hate, your damn mercy,
Mind your own spare me,
It's my misery, let me be.

"A MILLION YEARS"

This little thing, that beats, in my ribcage,
This ink records its footprints on this page,
That gentle touch, that calms, all this rage,
You have enslaved my soul without a cage,
Impaled a bullet in my heart, a close range,
You give me a feeling, something, strange,
Made love, a life - time feeling, not a stage,
You will be my true love, until we both age,
If our love could be measured with a gauge,
It'll take, a million years, and, deeply wage.

"WHAT SHOULD HE DO?"

The smell of burning souls,
Fell in love with the flames,
And roses were beautiful,
Their thorns were painful,
But what should a man do,
When he's helpless for you,
When love slips off his hand,
What should he do for you,
That'll make you understand?

"I LIVE POETRY"

Spill my ink out the window,
Steal my quill, now a widow,
Married to poetry, yes weirdo,
It saved my soul, it's my hero,
This is the only place I know,
My all, if this life, goes, zero,
Stuck inside me, it's what I do,
I live poetry, under my pillow.

"MY LAW"

I sit still, you think, just a sculpture,
You feel am just portraying a culture,
A bible to creativity, this's a scripture,
It's a story, I hope you get this picture,
My culture's my law, that's my nature!

"TAKE ME"

'Take me to where I've never been',
She said.
'Take me to a place for you and me',
She plead.
'Take me to where I've never seen',
She cried.
'Take me to a place clean of any sin',
She prayed!

Held her hand, led her into my heart,
Then, she sang a song with her heart,
Take me all, my each and every part,
She'd found love right from the start!

"CURSED INK"

Heaven to a sinner, bread to a winner,
Lyrics, to a singer, dices to a spinner,
Break rules not hearts, feed on words,
Starve, with some poetic satisfaction,
Please put your eyeballs in my mouth,
And you'll see the truth, in my words,
I was assigned to clean heaven floors,
But strangled angels behind the doors,
Demons leisure walk on hell's streets,
Pieces of me taped beneath their heels,
Shook devil's hand, God isn't pleased,
I wasted my lifetime painting the sky,
But, they still love the rainbow more!
When are you putting an end to this?
I can't re-read this chapter, anymore!

"LOST"

She sat in a pool of her tears,
All alone, thinking to herself,
What about those pillow fights?
Who stole those beautiful nights?

He sat hurt, deep in a pool of beer,
Rubbing his hair, unbuttoned shirt,
He lost his happiness and his cheer,
Lost with the silence of the room!

"SPECIAL BEINGS"

When am I going to understand this,
That flies have shorter lives than us,
Yet fly around like they live forever,
That we think we are special beings,
But deep in our hearts we're animals,
Maybe 'Mother Bunny' in the jungle,
Loves her family and kids a bit more,
Than we do love, our very very own,
We think we are better than any being,
Oh, what a stupid thing to think about,
We're more savage than the primitives,
Hate me but the truth's always painful,
You won't ever get it and neither will I,
Maybe till mosquitoes become donors!

"FOR MELODIES"

Lay yourself, on my soul,
Tonight's full of melodies,
Sweet heaven, music's all,
The art to sweet memories,
If my fingers hit your keys,
Your pores sing, Oh, please,
You're a musical instrument,
For melodies, you're meant!

"BABY LOVE"

Darling, when you were going into labour,
I was in the labour room, I read that gnawing pain, all written in your eyes. I saw you in tears, fears, but you never gave up.

'Darling, am used to this', You'd say amid cries. 'I've carried it for months.' You'd whisper breathlessly. I remained motionless, speechless and stung by the realities of a young strong woman.

'Please leave the room, trust me I will be fine.' You plead. 'You don't want any piece of this.' You'd sob.

But I chose to stay, for I cared for the baby and it's mother. I understood that a man doesn't run away from his family and the people he cared about. We just don't put off a fire we started when it gets darker, when the night's cold and the demons come crawling out of their caves.

The little born child will need both parents. The mother alone can't raise the child. If I left the room, the pain will utterly kill the mother and the little one will succumb to it too. So I stayed, witnessed the birth of our baby, a lovely being, a beautiful feeling, a new life!

"Love" was what it was. Your eyes lit up with a beautiful spark. Agony, pain and misery were a short-lived pregnancy, and love was born out of it. We both are proud of the lovely being and that we'll raise baby 'Love' together with utmost care.

That's why I smiled to myself with every single press of these keys, typing, spreading my heart out, letter after letter, word after word, that you'd feel the warmth it holds for you.
A hand on my heart, I think to myself, 'Love, you have such a beautiful mother!'

Honey, this is what I believe in, You and I, that's a worthy lifetime!

"SPIDERS & COBWEBS"

He'd ears full of cobwebs,
Of all the words she'd say,
He'd hear spiders crawling,
Scratching on his eardrums,
He'd just stare into her face,
And she thought her beauty,
Had imprisoned his eyeballs,
But she was so damn wrong,
He was another, utter Idiot!

"DRUG LORD"

Sip me up like premium Scottish whisky,
Smoke me up, like a Goldflake cigarette,
Inject it up, Oh sweet blood, brown heroin,
Sniff my skin, my pores so rich in cocaine,
Mess around lose your mind, get addicted,
Darling, my pleasure being your drug lord.

"THE OTHER FRIEND"

You knocked on my door,
And I welcomed you inside,
Said your name's happiness,
Then, created art on my face,
Said to me, it's called a smile.

And every time, we hugged,
I saw a serpent hidden coiled,
Tucked up, inside your collar,
You'd say that it's just a friend,
I learnt that it's named sadness.

Emotions cut me deep, and I bleed ink,
Lament about scars, I proudly own lots,
Words patch my heart that I won't sink!

CHILD Vs ADULT

The little child was the best inhabitant
to this body. He knew how to care for
it, loved it, kept it sacred. Took it to the
right places, filled it with hope, dreams,
joy, happiness, smiles, love and freedom.

The adult walked it. Selfish and mean.
Strangled the child, shamelessly killing
him. He was brutal and claimed that his
time was up!
The adult took this body to the wrong
places, killed the dreams and hopes, then,
Introduced these painful realities and hurt.

Now he regrets it! Only if he could bring
him back. They could have lived together,
and shared this body. What if he listened to his
little, loud, persistent, painful innocent cries?

If the adult gave the child a chance to guide on
how to rightly care for, handle this body, before
giving him a nice deserving decent sendoff,
this tale would have been told far more
differently!

"WAVES DRESSED HER UP"

'For she'd thought, that he,
Had stolen her little heart,
But he'd only borrowed it,
For a short-lived moment'

She poured out her heart,
A sip and he spilt the rest,
She'd lie on shores naked,
And waves dressed her up.

"LIFE'S SALAD"

Pain and misery, that is life's salad,
Flew paper planes, captain 'Sir Lad',
Dead dream reality disguising bottle,
Sinking vessel, unpatched boat hole!

The present does dislike, that history,
Write fresh own maybe read his story,
Write sweet lies down, create a novel,
The truth comes naked, utter, no veil!

"SAIL ON YOUR TEARS"

Everybody knows a piece of me,
Everyone tiptoes to hell, oh well,
Nobody seems to care about me,
No one gives a Damn! I can tell.

If I will sink in this ship all alone,
If these waves calm, and am gone,
Would you sing it in the same tone,
The song sang in my darkest dawn?

Please don't, heaven won't get lone,
This cream's melting off of its cone,
Oh Please let me go, leave me alone,
Sail on your tears. Please, carry on.

I purely feed and sleep on my napkin,
Slumber kingdom, I am the nap king,
My Papa naps too, am of the nap kin,
It is business, and we take each nap keen,
My boss sure hates me for this nap thing,
Grew old I guess, no longer a nap teen,
It matters less to a possessed nap being!

"WHEN WE FIGHT"

That stolen heart made it mine,
Those bad days will now be fine,
The fish caught by my casted line,
The body's delicacy wants to dine,
Possesses peacefulness, of a shrine,
Swirl, whirl up my body like a vine,
Take time maturing sweet like wine,
We fight then end up in a sixty-nine!

"LOST IN THE STARS"

I only wake up in the morning,
Or when the voices start calling,
In all my dreams, I keep falling,
In the night, I keep on crawling,
Lost beddings, limbs sprawling,
Dark places, I want to crawl in,
These stars are what am lost in.

"THE VOICES IN THE HEAD"

Am the voice that keeps you awake,
Each night, you carry me to your bed,
Am the voice you have wished to fade,
That that makes you wish you're dead,
I shouted and warned you, but instead,
Ignored me, locked me  in your head,
I knew of the wounds before they bled,
Of the stitches before the needle, thread,
And all the consequences to you, I read,
But you turned a deaf ear to what I said,
To you I was just 'The Voices In The Head',
I wish you'd listen! What's ignorance bred?

I've got a feeling, the first rainbow was in black and white,
